I had a great stay with Fraser for 4 nights. Fraser went above and beyond for me and let me check in early and checkout late as I had my ferry at 7pm. I even left some luggage at the apartment which he sent to me the next day which was greatly appreciated. If your thinking of staying with Fraser I would highly recommend to was a great host and was a lovely apartment to stay in.

Fraser was an exemplary host He accepted my booking at the last minute (Shetland was spur of moment visit) He was so accommodatingand made me feel completely at home The sort of person I would like to call a friend and definitely book with again Thank you Fraser!

Fraser was amazing! He was so flexible when I messed up the ferry timetables and had to push my reso by a couple of days. Then, when I fell in love with Shetland, he let me stay longer! He had so many recommendations and all were killer. He gives you space in the kitchen to store/make your own meals, was generous with the living space, and let me do a quick load of laundry when I stayed longer. Craig the tripod cat is a character and always greeted me home. I’ll definitely be back to Shetland and hope Fraser’s available to host!

Fraser's place is just as he describes it. It is super convenient to Lerwick and back, as the Lerwick bus stops just feet away. He was very willing to drive me when the buses weren't running on the Up Helly Aa holiday or to fetch me late from the celebrations in Town Hall I was at after the procession. He even offered a mutton, potatoes, and gravy meal he had made for his kids when I got back from relatives and heading off to Up Helly Aa. Fraser is a terrific guy and will do all he can to make you have a comfortable stay in his home. And remember that- it is a home. As he states, his kids may be there for a visit, and they were, due to Up Helly Aa. No problem with that! I hope you will stay here and get to know Scalloway.
