Enjoy a natural setting with specious parking; perfect for daily excursions to hike, canoe, swim, sight-see or sit back and watch the river flow from the covered front porch or rear patio. Enjoy your new 30x21 cooking shelter. Right on the wild Ammonuusuc river, and very private. Great proximity to shopping, hiking, swimming, skiing, rail trails, gold panning. 20 min to Littleton, 20 min to Lincoln, 25 min to Franconia Notch. also, 15 min to Vermont. This is a great summer retreat, or fall foliage and hiking base camp.

Great location right on the highway across from the river. Very scenic. Thomas was vey helpful when we contacted him
It is a good location. The house is big and clean. The owner replies the email/phone always and quick. The water pump makes noise which could be unpleasure if you are noise senstive.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at Thomas’s cabin. It was easy to find, clean and as everything was as described in the listing. The outdoor eating area was awesome and there is plenty of space to relax outside. There is also a swimming hole across the street that is easy to access. Would recommend

This place is what I called a magical cabin in the middle of the beauty of nature. There is a river across the street where you can go for a dip in the water, you can also wait for the Sun to come down while enjoying the cold river. It is such a beautiful scene🌅. There is a pond and a few hiking trails nearby. There are also plenty of trails for ADV motorcycles. The scenic views around this neighborhood are breath-taking. You can sit in their backyard at night and listen to the wildlife. Also, on a clear night, you can see how beautiful the stars light up the night. 🌌✨ I am from the city and this was a perfect dose of nature.

Bath NH is super laid back, and most recently boasted the longest operational general store in the country. there are 3 covered bridges in Bath, and I used to fish off the Woodsville/bath covered bridge in the late 60's early 70's. time has moved slowly in this area, and that's a good thing. tradition values and an accepting nature describe most of the folks you will meet.
If you go to Wells River Vermont looks for the ice cream shop in the center of town. some of the best and least expensive ice cream I have ever seen. it makes taking the family out easy on the pocketbook. There is a great little diner there also with a period correct breakfast, lunch and dinner counter with stools. They serve simple food that tastes great. I like the liver and onions like I had when I was a kid.
Woodsville has a Walmart, Shaws, Job Lots, auto supply and other stores, along with a few Chinese restaurants.
They have a fair each year around the end of July called the North Haverhill Fair....check it out for tractor pulls, equestrian events and rides/games for all. Old school fun that is minutes away from the property.
Most of your travel will probably be by car or motorcycle , but ATV, bike travel is popular as well. There are many hiking trails, ponds, lakes and rivers within minutes drive/ walk of the property.
