This stunning home with fantastic vaulted ceilings combines history and modern design to make for a unique, beautiful and comfortable stay. Terrific well-equipped kitchen, excellent beds and bathrooms. The coastline near Andrano is spectacular and uncrowded (in late December), and inland there are nature reserves and villages to explore. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Andrano has produce markets on the square directly in front of the home, a couple of bakeries and other provisions including a large grocery store. A gorgeous taste of the Salento region.

We were three couples, one with a child, from 3 farflung countries, who had decided to get together in Italy for a reunion. This place we eventually chose in Andrano definitely met our expectations! The kitchen was amazingly well–equipped with a large indoor dining table, and a large outdoor one as well. It was perfect for cooking for our large group. There were farmers‘ markets in the surrounding towns and usually a few stalls very close by in the next square. On Thursday morning, we found that the square in which the rental was located hosted a large, diverse farmer‘s market. The outdoor pool was great for a dip after a long walk, and perfect for the child in our group. It was also possible to walk to a local beach, or drive to a few several other beaches along the coast, each with its own character. Within a short drive, there are several interesting historic towns to visit. The house itself was tastefully decorated and spacious, while located in a historic square.

We loved this palazzo style old house which adjoins the church in the pretty main square of this small town. The huge principal room with its vaulted ceilings is given a contemporary, stylish ambience, with furnishings that combine comfort with eye-catching design and has a kitchen area which is extremely well equipped for any scale of entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms are similarly of the highest quality. The small private garden with its own pool is also created with a designer's flair for detail, a tranquil haven, a space to sit out with areas in sun or shade, with only the occasional sound of the church bell or the faint chorus of voices singing at evensong. .

This place is just amazing! The high-end tasteful decor, the quality of the materials used and the facilities in the house are just as beautiful as the pictures and you get a sense that the house is not just a place fixed up for rental. All the rooms are all beautifully made with comfortable beds and pillows and the acoustic design is made in such a way that you cannot sense the noise from the other rooms which is preferable when staying together. We highly recommend this place.

The property is lovely, with a walled garden, vaulted ceilings and well equipped. The property is well located within Andrano and in walking distance to coffee shops, a great little bakery and local pizzeria and mini-supermarket. Our host, Mariassunta, was great and left us a lovely welcome hamper with local treats, together with milk, coffee and bottled water which was all very well received. The property is located on the main square next to a church, and our visit coincided with a local festival so parking was a challenge at times but this was more than made up for by the festivities right outside the front door. Only area for improvment is communication around waste collection and the provision of refuse bags, as this was a little confusing. Would highly recommend.
