Hillary’s casa is an absolute dream. You are surrounded by peace and beauty. The true definition of “pura Vida”. My husband and I spent nearly all of our time outside soaking it all in. The hiking trails were fun and picked fresh starfruit off of the trees. To have not 1 but 2 private waterfalls on the property is an added bonus! Hillary was an exceptional host and very responsive and helpful. We had a mix up getting to the house (my fault not hers) and she was so understanding. Her suggestions and advice were very welcomed and appreciated. We are already planning another trip back to this paradise!

This place is insane! Talk about immersive. The house sits on a bed of beautiful flowers, plants and fruit trees. With a view that never got old. Just imagine sitting by the pool, looking out at the canopy of the lush forest all around, parrots flying over head, while eating a fresh picked star fruit. Not exaggerating. There are hiking trails all around as well. Johnny, was a very helpful host and would often bring by fruits from around the property that we had never experienced.

I can not recommend this property enough! I am already planning to book this house again during our next stay in Costa Rica. The property was simply stunning with breathtaking views specifically during sunrise/sunset! The pool, cold plunge, hammock, the beautiful waterfall (easier to get to by driving), each room has its own bathroom! The property is absolutely beautiful! What made the stay even better was Hillary and her family! The most kindest, helpful, hospitable host ever! Incredibly thankful for Hillary's recommendations and all her family's help! Special mention is Steve! WE LOVE YOU STEVE! The trip couldn't have been as phenomenal without you.

Hilly’s place is beautiful and views are breathtaking. So serene, private and filled with sounds of nature. As many already mentioned here that pictures just can’t capture the true beauty of nature. And Hilly is a great host. Very responsive and caring. Great recommendation on spots. We would love to come back and stay longer next time.

My family and I stayed at Hillary’s place for a week and it was spectacular. The photos do not do this place justice, by far the best place we’ve ever visited in Costa Rica in our years coming here. Hillary is responsive, so helpful in recommendations and wants to make sure her guests have a great time. Location is great, just away from the crowds but close enough to get to if you want to visit Ojochal and Uvita. The drive up to the house was fun the first time, but I’d recommend a 4x4 and going before dark the first time at least. It’s a quick drive up. Our jaws dropped when we stepped outside and heard the sounds of Toucans, howler monkeys and a number of other beautiful birds. You’re truly in the jungle and the views do not disappoint. Beds were so comfortable, and there is a lot of room. The walks around the property are wonderful and we enjoyed the waterfall. This place is truly magical!! We’ll definitely be back next year, thank you Hillary!!!
