We were at Kyle’s place for 3 days and I can say this is a fair place overall. There were some dirty spots and more importantly, the house lacked clean water and some basic stuff like scrubby. Considering that the house doesn’t have a dishwasher and some of the dishes were already stained, and there are no where open late night, that was quite a headache. But the part that really bothered me was that the owner mentioned in his house rules that if you “ran” out of propane gas for the grill and heater, guests are responsible for refilling it to use; but it’s truly unacceptable when you get there late at your first night and all three tanks are empty and even in the morning he refers to his rules and asks you to pay $33 bucks each ($99 total!) to fill them. I think even if that’s the rule that someone run out of the gas, it’s the owner’s responsibility to make sure there are some left for the new guest, specially considering that you may not find any place open that time of the night.

This is a great place to relax and grab a good weekend away from the hustle n bustle. Kyle was a great responsive host, would recommend 10/10

We originally booked the Chalet with a group of 9, and ended up only having 6. There are 4 bedrooms with queen beds and a big sleeper couch, but even with just 6, someone had to take the other smaller couch. We made it work, but it’s something to keep in mind. We loved the location, great access to grocery stores, marina, bar across the bridge, loved the waterfront, porch, and balcony. We all had our share of adult beverages while there, but we all agreed that the bathroom floor seemed to be a little unstable, definitely not flat (nice hot shower though!). Other than that, a dishwasher would go a long way! In all, we are very pleased with the experience we had staying at the Chalet.
