North Elmham is a charming English village in the county of Norfolk.
We are just a 30 minute drive from the famous annual Thursford Christmas Spectacular event - buy your tickets in advance for seats at this incredible extravaganza !!
Our two lovely village pubs, village park and playing fields, superb and highly rated Teapost Cafe and post office, cricket ground, village shop, tennis club, excellent fish and chip shop and village doctors surgery are all within a short walk.
English Heritage points of interest and lovely rural walks along the disused railway line and river are also right on the doorstep.
Bicycle riders will find miles of quiet country routes winding village to village and perhaps pub to pub.
Taxis are bookable in advance and it is a short drive to a direct bus route into the Cathedral City of Norwich - with trains direct to Liverpool Street, London.
The North Norfolk coast and Wells next the Sea is 18 miles and a 30 minute drive away - just one of our many beautiful coastal towns and beaches.
Guests will find North Elmham Chapel, St Mary’s medieval church and Mid Norfolk Railway County School Station visitors centre all a short stroll away. Our lovely village is well positioned between the Norfolk market towns of Fakenham, Holt and Dereham with the River Wensum running along side the disused railway tracks. There are a number of fishing lakes nearby plus The Wensum Way (a 12 mile Norfolk footpath route) and Pensthorpe Nature Park are only a short drive away.

You have your own parking space in our gravelled driveway. A bus route runs through the village and onto the market town of Dereham.
