Peasholm park, boating lake and woodland glen are directly opposite; North Bay blue flag award winning beach is around the corner; amenities on the doorstep include cafes, restaurants, convenience stores; many local attractions are within a few minutes walk and include the Open Air Theatre (host to world famous acts including Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams and many more!), Alpamare Water Park, Minature Steam Railway, SkyTrail, SeaLife Centre, Scarborough Cricket Ground; and approx. 15 minutes walk into town for shops, cafes, restaurants, Stephen Joseph Theatre and railway station.

Council owned parking is plentiful right outside the guesthouse. We can provide council parking permits at minimal cost and free disc parking clocks. So much is on the doorstep to access on foot but there are also bus stops over the road for trips further afield such as Whitby, York, Pickering, Bridlington, Malton. The railway station is about 15 minutes walk away, or 5 minutes in a taxi/by car.
