Jim’s place is really nice for a weekend getaway. The instructions Jim provided are very clear, and he is super responsive to every question I had. My family and I had a great time here!

Had a great stay at camp Elmore, the cottage was greatly equipped with everything we could think of needing. Appreciated being able to use the water equipment and Jim’s hiking/food recommendations. Would happily stay again, thank you!

We had a great stay at Jim and Kathi’s lakeside cottage! The place is in an amazing location, right on lake Elmore, with a view of the lake and the mountain right off of the deck. The cabin was private and remote enough to give you a sense of being away from it all, but still plenty close enough to go to nearby attractions in Stowe and Montpelier (~30 min). While a bit rustic, but cabin is really very nice and has everything you would need. We would definitely stay here again!

Book your stay right away! This airbnb was probably one of our absolute favorites. To start the hosts were super flexible with check in. They allowed us to check in early and greeted us in person. While Lisa, the cleaning lady, was finishing cleaning the space they took us on a tour and explained everything. They even took us out on the pontoon boat. We really loved meeting with Jim and Kathi and getting their personal recommendations. The lake was pretty quiet since it was after labor day when we visited but we had great weather so we were able to kayak and swim. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the hosts kindly left us beer and wine to enjoy. We walked the lake down to the Elmore Store which had beer, wine, snacks and even full meals. We got the pizza and sat on their deck to enjoy the sunset. Everything about this stay was amazing and we will hopefully be back again!
