The villa, surrounded by greenery, surrounded by a garden of about 2000 square meters and a land of about two hectares, is built on two floors, independent of each other. We offer guests only the ground floor with direct access to the large patio and exclusive use of the garden and the infinity pool with changing room, bathroom and solarium. We accommodate up to 4 guests in two bedrooms + 1 guest on the sofa bed. The property includes 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Villa surrounded by greenery, in an oasis of greenery and unspoiled landscapes. Lush manicured garden. Outdoor kitchen, annex, solarium, infinity pool and changing room. The apartment available for rent is located on the ground floor, with kitchen and two bathrooms, accommodates up to 4 people (2 bedrooms) + 1 person on a sofa bed. An independent underfloor heating / cooling service (payable according to consumption) is available.

Het was onwijs heerlijk in het huis van Luisa en Gianfranco samen met onze twee kinderen! De tuin is niet normaal mooi, leuke dorpjes in de omgeving en een uurtje van Rome vandaan, waar we ook nog even heen zij gereden met de kids. We zijn enorm tot rust gekomen en als de mogelijkheid er is gaan we zeker terug!
Dette fantastiske hus var de perfekte rammer omkring vores ferie! Værterne var så søde og imødekommende. Virkelig en “skjult” perle - vi kommer MEGET gerne igen 🌸
This is a truly hidden gem ... (once visited you'll like to keep it for yourself :-) Luisa and Gianfranco are "super superhost" who treat you as a king with great kindness and attention. With same attention to detail and comfort they created a very lovely fully equipped indoor space with a - immense outdoor terrace and outdoor kitchen (and pizza oven)...., - a great "lush" garden and and - a really great subversive pool in which you can float around at night looking at the bright stars between the hills of Lazio and umbrae Poggio Catino, Casperia, Mirteto, ... is the real Italy: ancient but vibrant villages on hilltops with nice restaurants and amenities in inspiring surroundings ... and lovely people . From Poggio mirteto you have a great and direct train link to Rome (3 € - 40 min trip). So its location is strategically ideal to mix citytrips with vacational rest :-) . But please explore also the region because it's a truly gem to discover Luisa and Gianfranco bring with Poggio Cation Italian hospitality to a next level... They are "SUPER-hosts" with a unique setting to offer and with a great care for their guests ! Don't even hesitate to book this please ...you'll not regret it... at the contrary...we wished we could have stayed "much" longer... Thank you Luisa and Gianfranco for the great care and having us stay at your hidden but terrific retreat.

The countryside context in the green among the olive trees and in the quiet. In the surroundings, several medieval villages can be visited such as Poggio Catino, Roccantica, Casperia, Bocchignano, Farfa with its famous Abbey. Poggio Catino is also located on the route of the Via Francigena that connects Assisi to Rome.
There are many places of interest to visit, in addition to the Eternal City (Rome), Tivoli and Villa Adriana, the Abbey of Farfa, the villages of Bocchignano, Roccantica, Casperia and Cantalupo, the nearby Umbria with Spoleto, Spello and Assisi (there we find on the Via Francigena that connects Assisi to Rome). There are numerous paths for those who love cycling and hiking in general. Behind the town there are two mountains about 1300 meters high with nature trails and vast forests. Poggio Catino is also overlooking the Tiber valley which, with mountain bike trails and picnic areas, is about 5 km away. For those who love shopping, in addition to the shops in the center of Rome, you can visit a well-stocked outlet (Soratte outlet) which is about 15 km away. The culinary specialties of Sabina, then, are renowned and can be "tasted" in different restaurants dedicated exclusively to local organic cuisine.
