If you are looking for a place where you can relax and have an astonishing holiday, Villa Sisil Sewana is the perfect location for you during your journey as it's name suggests, it's a place of "joyous shelter" for the bright visitor. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Hikkaduwa , you will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of mother nature and her gifts such as flavorful, exotic, fruits and flowers from its gorgeous garden inhabited by lovely squirrels and a different variety of birds. As we walk inside the accommodation we set our foot in a spacious living area featured with a smooth granite floor and cozy sofas facing the amazing garden. Looking at walls of the house our hosts will be enlightened by the artifacts and the wall paintings of our local artists. The whole upper floor of the house features two Air Conditioned bedrooms with king sizes beds, both connected to a large shaded balcony. Whereases on the ground floor we have two extra bedrooms (both with double beds) with ceiling fans, a bathroom and a well equipped kitchen recently restructured. Everything is cured by our caretakers (a couple that lives adjacent but separate from the main house who takes care of the space) who are willing to make joyful and unforgettable your staying. It’s only 4km far from town which means you are really close to the beach and its activities and it's well connected to the new highway and therefore to the other towns of the island. the house is situated in a very quite neighborhood, perfect for families or those who like to relax in a calm and quite place away from the traffic and the noise of the hikkaduwa city centre Wifi internet access is available throughout the house.

Lovely big house with a giant green garden. Stayed here 6 years ago and stayed here for the second time. A lot of animals live in the garden, and sometimes come to visit: chipmunks, monitor lizards, mongooses. We saw a monkey once. Thank you very much to our hostess Sarath, who remotely solved all our questions and wishes! Recommended!
We really enjoyed our time at villa sisal sewana. As its name suggests it really is a place of shade & rest. Even though we booked it for a month, we didn't grow tired of it at all, as everyday was a day of happy relaxation. The place is actually better than even the photos, with its luscious garden and comfortable home. With its clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, there was enough space for us, our baby and our pet dog too, who the owner graciously allowed us to bring along. Although the kitchen does feel a bit dated compared to the rest of the house, the host provided us with a microwave within an hour of us arriving. There are also caretakers ( a couple) who live adjacent but separate from the main house who take care of the outside space. All in all a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer!
Sarath's villa is a charming place tucked away in a quiet corner of Hikkaduwa. We had the entire place to ourselves and though we arrived rather late, the caretakers welcomed us warmly and even prepared a meal for us. The house is artfully decorated, though it could do with some extra lighting as it gets quite dim at night. A special mention of the caretakers is definitely warranted. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without them. Ever-smiling and considerate, they took care of our every need. Definitely a place you should consider if you're visiting Hikkaduwa!
Beautiful large villa, placed in quite place near (about 7km) from the ocean. Huge territory under your control. Garage. Lots of greenery and trees on the plot. 2 people live in the neighborhood, they look after the house. We were delighted. We recommend this villa to all!
