A house with unbeatable sea views, private bathing spots and jetties. This spacious and rarely let out house is located in a tranquil spot on the car free island Grötö - the Swedish West Coast at it's finest. You'll be right in nature, whilst still having access to all the comforts of a fully equipped and family friendly home. We were fortunate enough to spend a week at Moa’s stunning house on Groto. The pictures really do not do it justice, the house is stunning and fantastic for families. Sitting and watching the ocean, crab fishing with the kids in perfect surroundings. Special mention to Beata who made our stay really fantastic and was a pleasure to meet her.

Grötö is a car-free and picturesque island on the Swedish West Coast archipelago.
The house is located in the southern part of the island, sharing private bathing spots and jetties with only 3 other houses.
There's also a child friendly beach on the northern shore, 20 minutes walk.
For the hungry, there's also a small restaurant open during high season.
The island is easily walkable and car free. If you have bicycles, this is also a great way to get around.
The ferry to Grötö arrives in the harbour on the Eastern side of the island and from there it's about 15 minutes walk to the house.
There is no store on the island. Food can be ordered online from ICA, and delivered by the ferry the following day, if you have a Swedish bankID. Otherwise you can do your shopping on mainland or take the ferry to the neighbouring island.

I'm Swedish and live in Stockholm with my Portuguese husband and two children (born 2010 & 2013). We've used AirBnb quite a bit when travelling and are new to hosting.
