We stayed at Ban’s antique 2-story house for two nights. It was one of the best airbnb stays I have ever had. Super friendly host with superb food served every day. There is a traditional Thai village nearby one can walk around. I did a 7km run and that was amazing. Gateway to Doi Inthanon (about 70min) drive. I’ll definitely come back when I visit Chiang Mai next time!

I loved this Airbnb.  The homestay is approximately 30 mins outside of Chiang Mai in the beautiful countryside.  Our host Phon was amazing and very welcoming.  The unit was spacious with windows that opened in all directions.  The beds were very comfortable and linens were very soft.  We had two bedrooms both with king beds and patios.  Our package included both breakfast and dinner.  The food was fantastic and also some of the best we have had in Thailand.  The grounds are beautiful with lush landscaping and a small stream that runs through the property.  From our room, we could see both the sunset and sunrise.  We wanted to see the elephants while in the area and Phon had arranged a private tour at the nearby sanctuary.  It was amazing to have the elephants to ourselves as we walked along the river banks.  Phon offered us a ride to the airport in Chiang Mai which was greatly appreciated.  I hope we have another opportunity to stay at this wonderful homestay.  Thank you Phon.  Lisa

We had a very pleasant stay at Ban Bon Doi. Fonne was extremely helpful, offering to pick us up from the airport - and even the city when we went exploring - and bring us back to the homestay, which is on the outskirts of the city ( with access to local taxis that run at regular intervals) . The homestay is nestled in a quiet green area with lots of trees and birds. The rooms were clean and the experience of living in a traditional Thai wooden home made it special. Fonne helped us organise our treks in the Doi Inthanon National Park. Her cafe offers lovely food and she also cooked for us taking special care to provide food that served everyone's requirements in the group ( gluten free , vegetarian, less spicy). We are definitely going back again. Thank you for your hospitality Khun Fonne!
