Mr Chris was a absolute rock star! He was quick and responsive for my questions. Give me so many recommendations for this beautiful town of Peterborough.. His home was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. I would definitely recommend his home and next time I’m in town I’m booking you! Thank you again Mr Chris!

We booked our stay at Chris' place for the long weekend for 4 of us plus our dog. We had a family reunion that weekend so it was really meant to be a place for us to sleep. I will start with the pros: Chris was easy to communicate with, he was very responsive which was great. He told us the cleaning had finished early so we could check in early, and left instructions on how to enter the house and internet codes. The backyard was nice and cozy - we didnt use the hot tub or anything, but it was a good space for our dog to run around and we were thankful to have found a place that allowed us to bring a dog. Cons: Ive stayed in lots of Airbnb's and this would not be considered a 5 star. Chris and his family live in the home so we really felt that we were in someone elses home. We did not feel like other Airbnb's where its your own space to use for a few days. The linen closets were stuffed with crumbled laundry and items as if they were in a rush to get the place ready. The dishwasher was packed with products and random household items to ensure we couldnt use it. The fridge and cupboards had all their food in it (thankfully we did not need to use the kitchen because I dont think we would have been able to). The place was OK in terms of cleaning. They said it was Covid deep cleaned but there was alot of dirt of the floors throughout the house and some dead bugs in the kitchen; I definitely wouldn't say it was fully cleaned. There were no extra towels, blankets, or linens anywhere to be found. When we arrived the house was FREEZING. We had to put layers of clothing on just to be somewhat comfortable and had to turn the AC off for the entire next day to warm the house by only a few degrees. There were also zero instructions left by Chris on basic household things you would expect from a 5 star Airbnb like where to put the garbage bags, taking off the bed sheets, etc. I didn't actually know this house was where the family lives until the day we checked in when we were told not to enter his daughters room because thats where they keep all their stuff during our stay. Again, it felt like we were in a strangers home and so for us, it wasn't the most comfortable experience. Chris is a nice guy so hopefully he takes the feedback and makes some changes!

Amazing! We needed to be in town for a memorial and we have pets that we have to travel with due their anxiety and it is very, very difficult to find accommodations. Chris' home accommodated our pets, was very clean, very comfortable, the yard was lovely and had lots of furniture if you wanted to lounge in the space, and his communication was always fast. Love the space, grateful that it was pet friendly, and the neighborhood was also lovely and friendly. We would absolutely visit again.
