the cottage is very peaceful and serene. The wood stove was the perfect part of a cozy weekend. And the fall colours were amazing. It was a great place to go and relax.

recently stayed at this Airbnb cottage and had an overall great experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the cottage was easy to find. The peaceful environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, there were a couple of drawbacks to note. The driveway to the cottage is quite steep, which could be a challenge for some vehicles or drivers. Additionally, the two main bedrooms lacked heaters, making the rooms quite cold, especially in the afternoon and evening. We found ourselves needing to light up the fireplace frequently to stay warm. Despite these minor inconveniences, the charm of the cottage and its tranquil surroundings made for a memorable stay.

Good place to stay if you like peace and quiet!

This is a very nice cottage. It has all the amenities you could need. Check in is simple and keyless. The views are lovely from the cottage, back spacious balcony and doc. The short 10 minute trip into Haliburton gives you access to lots of shops and restaurants. You do need to be quiet at night as the neighbours are fairly close on the one side, but they were nice to us, so there were no issues there. The doc bar at the Bonnie Inn (about 20 minutes away from the cottage) is a real treat for lake view dining or afternoon cocktails on the water. Overall this was a great experience for us.
