Travelers Nest is the perfect retreat! Close to shops, easy to hop on the interstate to other nearby towns and WCU is just across the way; yet, remote enough to enjoy the nature around us and peace and quiet. We saw a turkey walk through the yard, and enjoyed the wildlife in general. Evening skies are beautiful to enjoy on the front porch swing. The road up it he cabin is a slight challenge, but manageable. Blake does an excellent job of adding many simple, but quality-filled touches to the cabin. Nice shade darkening blinds, wonderful bedding, great bath towels, abundant supplies, and natural based cleaning products. We would definitely like to return and explore that area even more! Thank you, Blake, for an amazing retreat!

My sister, myself, and her friends had so much fun at our stay in Sylva. We wanted a peaceful, quaint get away from the city and got just that. The surroundings are beautiful, and we’d be happy to come back again soon!

Cabin was just a described. Bathroom sidewall was a little tall but read reviews ahead of time so was prepared. Only our daughter under 5 foot struggled, she has short legs. But everything seemed cleaned and was ready for out late check-in. Didn’t have any issues with any appliances or running out of hot water. Will stay again.

We couldn't have asked for a better place -- secluded and beautiful. We enjoyed a great fire and the porch swing most of all. The rooms were perfect, and the place itself was comfortable. Would stay here a thousand times over.

Perfect place to make our home base for our mountain getaway! Close enough to everything in Sylva but far enough away to be out of the city
