This place looked exactly like the pictures. Things to note that aren't in the description is that there are way more amenities like the bathrooms having body soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer which is a huge plus in my opinion. Plenty of dishware, cookware and the outdoor space is so peaceful. We fished (and caught plenty fish off the deck). The only compliant i have is the master bedroom bed is not comfy :( The only complaint that i have that the owner has no control over is the construction going on that makes it difficult to navigate getting to the home but i am sure once it is resumed to normal that it is a breeze to get to.

This is a gem 💎 of a location. Host was immediately responsive, accommodations are lavish and the accommodations has a private resort feel. Love it!

This place was nice but not exactly what we hoped it would be. The biggest draw to us was it was on the canal/water and we were excited to fish from the house. However when we got there the house was at the end of the canal in the most stagnant water and we simply couldn't catch any fish from the house. We also hoped to ride the kayaks from the house but one of them was flat and it wasn't going to be easy to get them in the water. Additionally, due to road construction, the northbound freeway exit to get to the house was closed. So everytime we drove into Galveston, when we came back, we had to drive miles up the road past the house, turn around, and come back down the interstate to get to the house. With these 2 issues, I wish we would have simply stayed in Galveston. Parts of the house were really fun though. It was roomy and the outside was awesome. It could really use new blinds. And the bed in the master squeeked like nothing you could imagine!

Place was spacious and comfortable for our family. It was close enough to the city but far enough to have peace of mind.
