Relax with the whole family at our peaceful Eco off grid Cabin powered by solar. Hidden amongst the trees in a quite location beside our small campsite on our farm in the heart of Northumberland. Surrounded by wildlife and caters for families and couples who are looking for a quiet cosy base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. Dramatic coastlines, miles of sandy beaches, rolling hills and majestic castles all waiting to be explored. Ash lodge has Bright airy modern and Spacious rooms with views through the trees to the farmland beyond. Walks straight from the door around the farms own private nature reserve. Super insulated, full central heating and all your power supplied by solar panels, plus a log fired stove to keep you extra cosy and warm. Cooking facilities include log fired oven, microwave, slow cooker and a 4 ring gas stove for cooking up winter stews and comforting crumpets with hot melted butter.

We had a brilliant stay in Ash Lodge with our children & dog for my wife’s birthday.What a gorgeous lodge! The host really had thought of everything. From dog treats & accessories, to board games, books, a welcome hamper with a scrummy treats and even birthday bunting! We made cookies & mini pizzas to cook on the penguin oven, walked to St Mary’s inn for lunch - lovely walk but a lot of it is walking on the road. Also, the canvas art painted by the host are wonderful! Especially the owl one in the bedroom! Thank you for a lovely time xx
Just spent a wonderful 3 days in the Ash Lodge. Communication with Sarah was excellent and I was even able to get in earlier than anticipated. The accommodation was excellent; everything you could possibly need is catered for and I particularly enjoyed the welcome goodies! Having the fire and wood burning oven was a real treat and the seclusion of the place meant I had a very peaceful few days. It has been great to see sustainability being considered so well in the property too 😊 Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here. I agree with some of the other comments in that the pictures don’t do the listing justice because it really is an adorable little lodge with everything you need and set in a woodland. We had our own private fenced in garden which was perfect for the kids. Parking right outside. It felt very peaceful and secluded. Very much enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Thank you

Here you'll find traditional farmers markets, interesting shops, fabulous restaurants, takeaways and tea rooms, supermarkets and a park and gardens.
There is free parking by the lodge for up to three cars.
