Host was extremely unhelpful in the build up to our supposed ‘stay’, would leave long amounts of time between replies and required multiple messages to provoke communication. Also found out that she had a £200 fee on the door for us to stay that may be refunded after we stay. All of this is irrelevant though as the host canceled on us the night before we was meant to stay, and did not offer me a refund. This forced me to get in touch with air b&b who thankfully saw the chat messages between both parties and issued a refund. DO NOT STAY WITH THIS HOST, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

We booked this flat but ended up being moved to a different property with less rooms which the host tried to tell me was an “upgrade” which I felt was a bit misleading. The house was clean, tidy and finished to a good standard though. We were told on the morning of our booking that there was an extra £200 damage deposit too which would be returned after we checked out. I would’ve preferred to be told this ahead of time as I feel like some guests may not be able to afford this without factoring it into their trip in advance. Overall a good trip though.
