What a gem in the rainforest with all you could want or need. The Black Bear Inn has beautiful views, comfortable accommodations, and a concierge (owner Nicole) with fantastic recommendations! The bunkhouse was just perfection, and I hope to return in the near future!

Close to town but not too close. Easy to get to from the airport. Parking is easy and handy. Pretty views from the windows and the beach is just below. I was there for work and I am much happier to be staying here than in any hotel option.

If you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting Ketchikan, Alaska you definitely need to check out the Black Bear Inn. Nicole and Jim are really great host and depending on whether you’re looking to be left alone or if you want to know anything about Ketchikan they can fill you in. The Black Bear Inn is at the top of my list just a couple miles outside of town (from the hustle and bustle) so you can relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine overlooking the inlet (pure amazing). They know the greatest places to eat in town that you would never find on the web and also places to visit that you might not have thought of. I missed them the first time I was there earlier in the year but I am so glad I got to meet them this time. Thank you guys so much for the great dinner we had together sharing in conversation and learning so much more than I ever know about Ketchikan. I hope to see you again soon. Thanks, Scott
