Cabin in the beautiful fjord Hvalfjörður, 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik - here you will be surrounded by nature and view to the fjord and mountains. The 25m2 cabin is built in 2023 with a beautiful view to the fjord. Cabin inside with open spaces, with a separate toilet/shower room and high ceilings. We just started to rent out in 2024. Cabin is located on the north side of the fjord. Hot pot on terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view. Free private parking space at the cabin. When you enter the cabin, large windows and high ceilings welcome you. The cabin is built with a sloping roof. The view from the large windows shows the breathtaking view of the fjord and the mountains. Open space with a separate toilet/bathroom. Small entrance with space for shoes and outerwear. Entrance to toilet and bathroom, with wall-hung toilet, tiled shower cabin and tiled floor. Comfortable Avignon sofa and Fritz H dining chairs furniture, for a cozy place to relax and appreciate the scenic surroundings. Coffee table by the sofa. The 160x200 size bed is a Odin health mattress – Stiff mattress . The Óðinn health mattress is a high-quality seven-zone split health mattress that provides proper support and maximum rest. At the end of the bed is a Ikea wardrobe, with drawers and space to hang clothes. A cozy kitchen from with everything you need for 2 people. From the balcony door you can walk straight out to the terrace, here there are two garden chairs, if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view. Or maybe enjoy a relaxed moment in the hot pot. General information about the area: You will find great walking trails, for example to the highest waterfall in Iceland Glymur, only around 15 min drive. You have mountains for hiking, Þingvellir is within an hour away and from there you can visit the Geysir & The Golden Circle. In the west are many wonderful attractions like Langjökull glacier (Húsafell), and Snæfellsjökull glacier among many others. On the other side of the fjord, you can visit the newly opened Hvammsvík Hot spring nature baths. During summertime , the outdoor swimming pool is open, from end of May until end of August. Distance only 5 minutes drive from the cabin. Closest restaurant from the cabin is Hotel Laxárbakki, at Hvalfjarðarsveit, it takes around 10 minutes to drive.
