Lovely house, fantastic location, some great trails to walk and amazing local food restaurants. Mike was very accommodating and helpful. Tip would be to book taxis early as house is remote and can take them a while to get to. Very minor issues were having to strip all beds and linen on check out, not having some basic kitchen utensil like sponge or dish brush, was frustrating having to buy that stuff having rented the property. Overall really great spot, would book again.

The Lodge is located on picturesque Loch Fyne, with a delightful view of Inveraray and mountains across the water. Its six bedrooms offered ample room for our group of 8 adults (3 couples and 2 singles), one toddler and a dog. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and we appreciated the large dining table for our family meals. Washrooms (toilets) were bright and modern, and the Lodge's high ceilings and woodwork offered a sense of the history and grandness of the building. Access to the beach is a little tricky, but that didn't stop our hardier group members from having a refreshing swim! Wifi service was strong throughout. We made several road trips to excellent nearby restaurants and tourist sites, and particularly enjoyed the local oysters and mussels. Mike's advance communications and suggestions were clear and helpful, and he was discreetly on hand for our queries. This was a lovely setting for our transatlantic family to spend some precious time together!

Lovely lodge! Hot tub is fab and great views over the Loch. House is full of character which add to the experience! Great place for our weekend away

Big attractive old property. Beautiful view out of front door window. Lovely dining table and area. But too many beds crammed in. No basics in kitchen eg washing up liquid and no beds made up on arrival.
