My recent Airbnb stay in Mexico City had its ups and downs. Anna, the host, was kind but surprised me with a different, smaller apartment upon arrival . The original was being repaired and, unfortunately, it was not ready for me. Instead, they had a slightly smaller, with limited view, and okay furniture. Nothing like the pictures of the beautiful place I had paid for. My frustration was that I was only informed about the change once I walked in to the apartment, and that the place they offered was not as nice as the one booked. I messaged the owner of the place, who was quick to respond and at my request agreed to offer a discount. The apartment offered was in the same building, which is a great location in CDMX. It felt safe and with access to tons of great restaurants. I wish they would have inform me sooner of the change. The location was great, but the last-minute change dampened my vacation excitement.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is modern & slick, in a very safe building. The communication with our host was excellent. The location was very central for our goals for the trip—it is located on a very busy thoroughfare, which comes with its urban noise, but that was only a minor distraction. I would definitely consider staying here again or at another of their properties.

The apartment was squeaky clean with beautiful floor to ceiling windows. There was some noise from the traffic, but I think that’s because the home soccer team had just won the championship lol. Other than that, it was quite pleasant. Ana was super helpful and prompt. Always responded whenever I needed anything. She connected me with Paz who helped me find transport to the airport the day before my flight. All in all it was a great stay. All the restaurants were maybe a 10 min car ride at max. I look forward to my next stay with Mr W
