This is shared space to prepare your meals, hangout, and meet new people all while enjoying a picturesque view of Haleakala across the Alenuihaha Channel. We provide a fully functioning kitchen for cooking your own meals; stovetop, flattop grill, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, French press, pour-over, cooking and serving utensils, electricity and seating with a view. Just past the kitchen is a outdoor shower with hot running water, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and bathroom. This is also a shared common area. Next to the kitchen is a small garden that you are welcome to harvest from. We also have fresh duck and chicken eggs available for purchase.
Full of natural beauty and life everywhere you looked. Great community space with an inviting layout while also private and intimate. Would highly recommend to anyone who visits the big island.
We absolutely loved our stay in this incredibly tranquil slice of paradise. It was definitely glamping in style and the tent and bed were very comfortable, as well as nicely decorated. The farm is absolutely beautiful and we felt very at home here. If you want a unique, restorative experience then this is for you. Hawi is also a really cute little town that has a few restaurants and a great coffee shop. We will be back the next time we’re on the Big Island!!
I don’t know how to properly express how magical Becky’s ranch is. The tents are somehow even more beautiful than pictured, the kitchen cleaner (especially for an outdoor kitchen) and more welcoming than expected, and the property downright awe-inspiring. But what really made this stay so special were Becky and her animals. We ditched a perfectly good beach day to soak in a healing and transformative afternoon on the ranch, lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves. When we return to Big Island (not if) we will come specially to stay with Becky. Mahalo for the most incredible airbnb experience we’ve ever had.
it was a beautiful place and glamping was a lot of fun. there is a real nature feeling with all the animals. it is all very well described including references to wildlife. we felt very comfortable even though it was our first experience of this kind.
I had a nice stay with my young son at Hawi Nani Ranch. On the plus side, we had a sweet time connecting with other guests in the communal kitchen which was well equipped the dishes, cookware, coffee and tea. We enjoyed the little town of Hawi with limited but excellent shops and food options. On the down side, I found the tent smaller than I expected. I could only stand upright in the very center. Most nights of our stay, there was strong wind that whipped and snapped the tent fabric around. We were in the Lokahi tent with no shade from the morning and daytime sun, and I found it to be too hot to be comfortable by mid-morning. And we did not visit the Big Island to stay in the tent all day, so not a big deal in the big picture.
