The Pool House Pavilion was a wonderful place for us to host Christmas dinner with a gorgeous view of the lake. They had tables set up for our group of 12 and Christmas decorations everywhere which made it very festive. We weren't sure what to expect with the semi-private bedrooms. The bedrooms are unusual and separated by office-like partitions so there is no acoustic separation between the bedrooms. This was an issue since my family had colds and were coughing at night. The bathrooms are on the first floor and were designed to be dressing rooms for the pool visitors so they felt strange to us. I can see this being a wonderful place in the summer. Alyson was super responsive and helpful and brought us everything we needed.

First off, the communication was excellent! And they were equally accommodating. We went with this rental as an alternative to a hotel while we were in Richmond for a baseball tournament. So glad we did! The location to the fields was only about 15 mins further than the hotel and well worth it. Beyond the beautiful views and access to walk the trails, we brought kayaks and fishing gear and were able to use them off the private dock. The pool is a great size and was clean. Lounge chairs would be cool but definitely not a hindrance by any means. There is plenty of seating and tables on the pool patio. The rental was clean, the linens and towels were good quality and the furniture is comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the grill that's on the patio. There's a TV where you can stream but we only used it one night and not even for a full movie, there was just too much other fun stuff to do. We will definitely be returning, especially when we're down for another tournament. It was so nice for the kids to hit the pool after multiple games in the heat. The connecting house and pool pavilion together would be great for multiple families of a team to share. Thank you for the great stay!
