Come relax with the whole family, friends or even make some time for yourself at this peaceful retreat location on Trout Lake. Our hope is that you will find this cottage to be just what you need to reconect and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy the lakefront view while sipping your favourite refreshment. You may even see some of nature's wildlife in this quiet bay. No matter your favourite lakefront hobbies, there is something for everyone! This cottage does not have wifi, which is actually a good thing when you are wanting to disconect and live in the moment for a little while :-) There are two bedrooms. One is located upstairs in a loft type setting (for the more nimble) and a downstairs room with a sliding curtain door. There are also two fold out couches. The cottage’s water source comes from the lake for bathing, showering and washing dishes, but potable drinking water is provided with a cooler. The rec room has a TV and dvd player to enjoy some of your old favourites. (Some DVDs provided) but no cable. There is also a toy trunk with a variety of toys for little ones as well as a few games, playing cards, and puzzles. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics (oven, stove, fridge, water cooler for drinking water, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, popcorn machine, microwave and some basic kitchen utensils as well as a camping barbecue for outdoor cooking. There is no laundry facility, but linens, towels, and bedding are provided for short stays. If you wish to stay longer, you may need to bring spare items if you are using multiple beds or use a laundry facility. Outdoors, there is a firepit for your use as well as a large deck with patio furniture. you will most likely be able to observe wildlife such as turtles, ducks, loons, and more. If you are traveling with little ones, the small beach is the perfect place to play. We allow dogs (max 2) with an additional cost per dog. They must be kept on the property, as to not disturb the neighbours. We look forward to hosting you soon and into the early fall.
