Un très bel appartement avec une vue vraiment magnifique, les instructions claires et une hôtesse toujours très réactive. L’appartement était impeccable et bien situé. Pas mal de montées et d’escaliers pour y arriver mais nous étions prévenus. Portovenere est juste magnifique. Les voisins sont malheureusement un peu bruyants…. Réveils très matinaux.

If coming with elderly people or reduced mobility avoid it. Although not as well cared as pictures show, apartment is good with all required equipments for a decent stay. Caveat for the lack of plugs and for the reduced view from balcony with scaffolding (which we were just made aware of, after the booking payment). Big issue was on the apartment access description which just say “stairs” when in reality you have to go up on a little hill from the main street (taxis refuses to go up with the car), then a set of long and steep stairs to get to the building, then another set of steps to get to the apartment. At night just very dangerous given the lack of luminosity throughout the path. Was with my grannies and they were very uncomfortable in doing so. After 1st night I have asked for a refund to the owner and got a very careless response “it’s described that we have stairs”. Luckily grannies could endure this exercise at least once a day and we still managed to stay. In summary Id say that’s overpriced by what the apartment offers, a bit mismatched from pictures and unbearable for any person with mobility issues.

Tres jolie appartement avec vu sur mer magnifique malgré des échafaudages mais nous avons été prévenu par le propriétaire. Il n’y a pas de place de parking accessible si vous venez en voiture il faudra se garer loin mais c’est la ville de porto venere qui fait cela ( peu de place de parking) Appartement très grand et propre super pour un voyage réussi.

The worst host and lodging we’ve ever stayed in. This place was definitely NOT as advertised. When we arrived, we found broken appliances, a fractured television, dismantled wall sockets and curtain valances are all broken or not in any working order. The bathroom shower had deep mold crevices and the lock to the front door lock sticks. In addition to those issues, the essential selling point for this location is the view and that is majorly obstructed! Not at all was advertised appropriately. There’s a construction scaffolding that circles the entire perimeter of the building. In retrospect, this place feels like a scam because five days before arrival Eshel will notify that “a cornice has fallen” to justify the scaffolding as of it *just* occurred recently. Lies. We checked the infrastructure and that scaffolding has been there for awhile. My guess… many months to a year. My husband and I were there for seven hours before we demanded a full refund for this very poorly managed listing. Upon complaint of these issues, we were met with harassment and blame by the host. Truly disgusting and disappointed. Had to get corporate involved, it was a mess. Do yourself a favor and skip this. So bad.
