There is nothing Wouter could have done to improve our stay! He is definitely a 5-Star and then some kind of Host/place. He was TOP-NOTCH as a Host as were his daughters - VERY welcoming and wanting to engage in conversations while showing me (or us) around. They were not intrusive at all, but if they noticed you they would come over and ask how you slept, if there was anything you needed, etc. Watching the horses in the stalls outside the living room window was such an experience as we sat and had breakfast each day, especially in the morning when he (or they one morning) turned the horses out to pasture from the stalls. Blessing for us was his mare had just foaled the day before our arrival and she was in the first stall out our window, so we could look down and enjoy watching the mare/foal bonding experience without being intrusive. He has at least 8 types of animals! He recommended a restaurant that we enjoyed a nice 2-hr meal and would recommend as well (Boschbeek Restaurant

Beautiful two floor suite spotlessly clean. Wouter is very friendly and welcoming. When we forgot our plug adapters at home he got right on that to help us out! A 7 minute train ride into Haarlem or an easy bike ride (bikes provided by Wouter was an extra bonus!

Notre séjour chez Wouter a été absolument parfait. Wouter est l’hôte rêvé : gentil, attentionné, à l’écoute et très réactif par message, il nous a fait nous sentir chez nous tout de suite. Le logement est incroyable, il y a tout ce qu’il faut dedans, la vue sur les écuries et la ferme est magique, et Wouter était aux petits soins pour le petit déjeuner ! La gare est à dix minutes à pied à peine, et les vélos mis à disposition sont très pratiques. Probablement le meilleur Airbnb où on a logé.

We had an amazing time at Wouter place. The home was immaculate, with everything we wanted plus more. Including breakfast and wine. The bed is fantastic. And the rooms so very spacious. My partner loves horses and fell in love with all of them. Wouter and Femke are lovely and create a warm and friendly vibe whilst at the same time making it private for you. It’s the best Airbnb we have ever been to. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Wouter’s family farm. It’s a serene and peaceful setting, yet so close to the train station so it’s easy to get to all the places you need. This was a unique home with a wonderful bedroom and glass ceiling. The best part of our stay was interacting with Wouter who is very kind and obviously takes great pride and care of his beautiful property. 😀
