Hihi, I first fell in love with the Mount many years ago when Mum would take us kids here for our Christmas school break (my Dad had to stay at home to look after the farm), the summers seemed to last forever back then, our Mother gave us the best holidays cooking seafood at the campsite and taking care of us, she watched us like a hawk as my brother, sister and I swam in the surf or lay soaking up the sun on the stunning beach, I remember there was also an enforced "siesta" after our busy morning activities, so relaxing! Now after many years, a career, and raising a family in the "big smoke" of Auckland I am back here by the coast welcoming my guests to share in the beauty of this special location. My hope is that you will also find the same magic of those blissful carefree days; maybe on the summit of Mauao enjoying the vista or standing on the beautiful white sand beaches of the Mount, Or enjoying the array of cafes, restaurants, bars, and top-quality shopping, I truly want your stay to be so special that the moments will last forever....just like the memories of my childhood holidays here from summers long ago.....please relax and enjoy the unique laid back Mount lifestyle, you'll be a true "Mountie" in no time.
