We were communicating with Aldric before our trip, and he was nice enough to adjust the check-in time based off of our flight’s landing time. When we got to the airbnb it was hard getting our luggage up six flights of stairs, but that was something that we knew we’d have to do before booking the place. The apartment wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived; there were dirty dishes, sheets, and the floors were also dirty. We messaged Aldric and he responded fast and arranged for their cleaner to come the next morning, which was really nice. He was responsive and kind throughout our whole stay. The airbnb itself was so cute and decorated really nice. It was located in a nice area and extremely close to the metro station, so it was very convenient. We didn’t have issues with the heat even without central AC because there was a portable AC in the top floor. The ceilings were pretty low on the top floor and the bathroom, but it was manageable especially since the price of the airbnb was good.

Superbe appartement à distance de marche de plusieurs attraits touristiques importants (Louvres, Notre-Dame de Paris, Montmartre). À quelques pas à peine du métro, ce qui était très pratique pour visiter les quartiers plus éloignés. Lit confortable, air climatisé et wifi efficaces. Malgré le fait que nous savions que le plafond du 2ème étage était bas, nous nous sommes cognés la tête à quelques reprises, mais on s'y attendait un peu. Bien que l'appartement soit au 6ème étage, l'ascension des escaliers se faisait bien le matin et le soir. Bref, un bel appartement, bien situé pour établir son camp de base pour la visite de Paris

We absolutely loved our stay in Vincent’s apartment. It was very beautiful and had a great view. As detailed in the listing the top floor roof is quite low. As two fairly tall people we did have to crouch over as we moved around the top floor. However the skylights that open up allow you to stand fully in two of the bedrooms. The stairs up to the top floor apartment are quite intense but manageable if you are reasonably fit. The location is quite central and felt a little less touristy than other areas we visited. We felt it gave us a true sense of Parisian life. However we missed an iron! Would recommend this apartment to anyone who doesn’t mind stairs!

Vincent and Aldric’s place is as described. It is a very typical Parisian apartment in an old building. The place is very spacious and the balcony and floor to ceiling doors and views were fantastic! From the roof skylights you can also spot the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur de Montmartre. It is located on a busy road (significant street noise when doors are open) but directly next to the 8,9 Metro lines. Of note, although 6 guests are allowed, I would not recommend 6 adults as the second floor has low ceilings, smaller beds, and some irregularities in construction that may make it difficult. The stairs can be overwhelming if you bring heavy luggage. It was a wonderful stay.
