Chesnut Cottage is a fantastic place to stay. The host Avril is so helpful and welcoming. The cottage was spotless.

We had a great experience with Avril's cottage, from check-in to the facilities provided everything was spot on. Really clean and cosy house, perfect for a break to the countryside. Nearby beaches and villages all a short spin away, would recommend for a group or family visit.

Beautiful quiet setting, a "home away from home". Avril is the perfect host. She has created a lovely self catering holiday home that's family friendly for all ages. There is endless amounts of beaches and activities within or around 30mins so it is an ideal base. We visited Kia Ora pet farm, Gorey, Curracloe beach, Courtown, Wexford Town all with ease. Will visit again sometime and would recommend to anyone.

Cannot say enough about chestnut cottage. The house and farm setting are beautiful. The house was perfectly clean, spacious, private, charming, with everything in perfect working order. The nearby village of Blackwater is quaint and has everything you need and the beaches including the nearest only 5 minutes drive could not be better. Avril and family were attentive and responsive hosts. Highly recommend!
