My family and I spent a wonderful time there. It is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy all the beautiful view of the lake.

Beautiful outdoors where you can relax while enjoying bird watching and the garden and natural pond, with plenty of space to set up yard games if you bring them with you; Very nice bathrooms kitchen, and indoor lounging area. You may want to bring your own wine glasses/tumblers for drinks (limited glassware selection) and folding lawn chairs (outdoor seating did not match the number of guests this house can accommodate). Responded quickly when we reached out about a few issues that came up during our stay.

Our stay was very peaceful and the surrounding land and lake added the perfect touch. The only thing we weren’t too happy about were the beds. We were a group of 4 adults and out of the 6 beds (not including the sofa beds) only two of them were queen size and the other 4 were twin size. This made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Other than the bed situation, everything was perfect.

Betsy's home was the perfect location for a family Thanksgiving gathering! We had the best time cooking in the kitchen, hanging on the dock by the pond, and just exploring the property with the peaceful sandhill cranes and sprawling oak trees! It was very spacious and clean upon first impression! We had the BEST time and can't wait to hopefully make this a family tradition!

The place is beautiful, but could be better. When you first walk in the place it has a motel smell to it. though it's charming and gives a home feel to it. There were areas that had things out of place or messy. The night before arriving there was a storm so outside was really messy when I arrived. I had to pick up around the yard things that were knocked down. (I thought it would be taken care of before I arrived) other than the little things, it's a beautiful place and it did it's purpose.
