it says one room, but it's really an apartment without a kitchen. Everything you see in the photos is your private area. My son had no problems on the futon couch. 12 minute walk to the subway. 40ish minutes to Manhattan on the subway. It's a great space, especially in New York. We love Vinny's Pizza and Pasta! five stars, will book again when we come back

This Airbnb provided a pleasant experience, thanks to the host's prompt communication and a well-kept room. The host's quick responses made the booking process and stay hassle-free. While the 12-minute walk to the train station was a minor drawback, the availability of buses just a 3-minute walk away provided an alternative transportation option, balancing the distance inconvenience. The neighborhood felt safe, underscoring the host's consideration for guest well-being. Overall, this Airbnb is recommended for its excellent communication, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. Consideration may be needed for the distance to the train station, but the nearby bus options alleviate this concern. Would definitely consider staying again.

Mei's response time was very prompt, all the time. Friendly apartment in a safe neighborhood. It was a really easy walk to the subway (8 minutes). We could have taken the bus but it was nice and safe to walk, anytime. Great food options and shopping spots around (from low cost to great brands in the mall). Easy access from JFK and to downtown Manhattan. Barclays Center could be easily reached by R line (55 minutes, but no change of subway lines) in case you're into NBA. Our flight was in the evening but we were offered to store our backpacks in the hallway which was really nice. I would return if life brings me around - and will recommend it to my family and friends. Excellent value for the money.
