Great stay at rock and castle’s escape, unfortunately the weather was not on our side however it didn’t spoil the beautiful beach which was only a 5 minute walk away. There is loads to do surrounding the stay in north berwick which was ideal :) Bad bits: climbing into the bed, seems a bit high and would be ideal if there was a bigger brush to brush up rather than just a dustpan and handheld brush. Other then that we had a wonderful time. Thank you to lisa for our stay

I brought my boyfriend here for a birthday weekend away, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The Airbnb is just so gorgeous - beautifully decorated and so cosy. It had everything we needed for the weekend, with Lisa even adding some lovely touches (bottle of Prosecco on arrival!). The location was great - peaceful yet there was loads to do. I would absolutely recommend a walk down to sea cliff beach - this was absolutely stunning! Likewise, Drift and Tantallon castle are both walkable and we enjoyed both of these. Getting to North Berwick is a 5 minute drive, we brought the car however Lisa left lots of recommendations for taxi numbers etc! Lisa as a host was just great - from start to finish she was so easily contactable and she gave us a huge amount of recommendations for things to do/places to eat. I would recommend getting an East Lothian Deli box - so delicious and nice to have one night if you want to chill at the Airbnb. Will 100% be returning! Thanks again :)

In terms of location and enjoyment of the property, this is the most memorable Airbnb we have stayed in. We were blessed with sunny days spent exploring the lovely small beach, harbour and Tantallon castle. Super comfortable bed and attractive interior design. Attentive and responsive host for whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Looking forward to a return visit.
