A full size washer and dryer are on the lower floor with natural detergent and fabric softener for your convenience. Bring your bikes (or rent some during your stay) - as the neighborhood is near the bike path! Bike along the Island Line Trail into Burlington to grab lunch or shop! Enjoy incredible lake views for much of the ride! Alternatively, hit The Colchester Causeway for a one-of-a-kind trip (there's an actual ferry for you and your bike) across beautiful Lake Champlain to the Champlain Islands. There are multiple marinas nearby; you can see Champlain Marina from the house; the public boat launch is adjacent to the Marina. Airport Park and Bayside Park are less than 3 miles away from our Airbnb and accessible by car, bike, or foot. Airport Park is a 64.5-acre park with several amenities, including a basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, a playground, walking/jogging trails, and two fully-lit outdoor ice skating rinks in the winter! A large 100-person pavilion, picnic tables, and restrooms make Airport Park a great place to spend a day outdoors. There's even a circa 1815 log schoolhouse on the property that now serves as a museum (with limited hours). The park is located on the Island Line Trail (bike path) for easy access to the Causeway and a 30-minute bike ride to Church Street in Burlington. Bayside Park is smaller, at 22 acres, but includes Bayside Beach - a free, public beach with lifeguards and kayak/paddleboard rentals (rentals available from mid-June through Labor Day). In addition to the beach, there's a skate park, basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, volleyball courts, a playground, a 150-person pavilion, and more!
