We absolutely LOVED getting to see the 2024 eclipse from the farmhouse, right in the path of totality! This was such a great spot for our large group with multiple dogs. Very peaceful and so beautiful!!

We had a great time. It is a very beautiful old cottage at an amazing location. The beds were very comfortable, we have enjoyed having a private dock and a little area to go swimming just for ourselves. We loved how private the place was, so we could just enjoy our weekend there. Just keep in mind, it is an old farm style cottage, so obviuosly it won't be perfect, but it is a great getaway. The place is clean, spacious and has all the basic things you might need, the location is beautiful, lots of outdoor space, and the views are amazing. The owners a very nice and easy to communicate with.

The wonderful old farmhouse and nearby cottage on Wolfe Island were both gems of a find for our family gathering this summer. My husband and I had driven from BC, Canada, and over our 10 day rental, 19 family members travelled up from northern US states to visit with us, in two groups of 10 and 11, (plus us). They appreciated the option of a direct ferry to the Island from the US, while we came by ferry from the north. The house, yard, and direct water access made for a comfortable, fun, scenic, quiet, and well-serviced home-base for all ages (from 1 to 76). A bonus was the welcomed feeling we got from the entire neighbourhood, made up of siblings (and their families) who were raised in the original farmhouse where most of us stayed, plus the additional cottage of one of the brothers. A totally enjoyable, authentic rural-island-farm community experience. Thank you, Sharon & Elvin, and the Devlins, for providing the opportunity to stay among you for a precious week with our own family.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The location was beautiful—on the water, lots of space and privacy. There were front and back decks to sit on and we enjoyed the huge kitchen where we could sit and chat while cooking. We were two families coming together to celebrate the birthday of our mother/grandmother who lives in Kingston, and the space (fenced in, swings) was just right for a multi-generational gathering.
