Lots of little touches with character. Beautiful lake and trees with singing birds. Peaceful and clean. Friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

My son and I attended a soccer tournament at the Maryland soccer complex and this location was perfect, just 13 minutes away. The host family was wonderful, they fully respected our privacy while at the same time were readily available for questions and suggestions. The loft was pristinely clean, had more than enough amenities, and was very cozy and comfortable. The grounds and landscape were beautiful, set back in nature with access to a peaceful pond, with ducks and koi. We are looking forward to staying again next May for the 2025 tournament. The loft is worth every 5 stars and more!!!

My husband and I enjoyed so many aspects of staying here: the flowers, the view, the quiet, and the proximity to both the Potomac as well as shops. We appreciated the organized kitchen, stocked with coffee and tea and ready for all kinds of cooking.

This is a great place. We really enjoyed our stay, especially fire and sauna by the lake. Christian is a great host, very friendly, accommodating and good in communication. Highly recommended

Wow! I was in town for a couple weeks and needed a place to stay that wasn’t yet another hotel. Christian’s place caught my attention because of its convenient location and knowing it was near the C&O trail. I would have a place to walk or hike, or take a walking meeting. It was perfect, and so much more than that. I cannot describe all of the details I appreciated about the carriage house there just is not enough space to write them all. The attention and quality of each provision is remarkable. It felt like a home away from home tucked away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Truly a gem! It served my purpose perfectly. When I return to the area, it will be at the top of my list. I have shared my experience with dear friends and family - it was an unexpected joy. Wonderful and thank you so much Christian and family for your hospitality.
