We had a great weekend trip! Enjoyed fishing from the dock and relaxing looking over the beautiful waters of lake Talquin! It was an awesome opportunity to recharge and enjoy a peaceful stay at the lake!

Beautiful place to stay. Had a very relaxing weekend here. Fishing was good. Caught several 8-to-10-pound catfish from the dock. Will definitely rank this as one of my go to places for fishing.

This listing was one of my worst experiences. The house had no heat. That was not specified in the description and the house was freezing. There were lizards inside the home. There was a City problem with the water and for hours my water was off. The point of contact in my confirmation letter was not correct. I spent time calling and texting the wrong number then I finally reached out to airbnb. They couldn’t reach the host for hours either. I asked for a later check out since I couldn’t brush my teeth, shower, or cook for hours . The host yet again never responded, so I felt cheated out of a portion of my stay due to things outside of my control. This host was sloppy as they didn’t take time to check the water prior to my arrival, and they didn’t proof read their welcome letter to confirm I had all the correct needed contact numbers.

No linen for pullout couch or pillows. Part of boat dock broken. My guest fell through the back wooden patio injuring his back, leg and wrist. They just painted rotten boards. Was not able to access the home. The door code was to be the last 4 of my phone number. Had to spend 30 min on the phone finally using the last guests phone number. Worst rental experience I have had.
