The spectacular views, privacy, along with Elisabeth being such an amazing host really separate this from any other Airbnb I’ve stayed. Inside was so cute, plenty of room for the 4 of us. The cave-like room is such a unique experience. We spent the evenings on the front porch and would have spent much more time on the top patio if we had been able to. This is directly off the Fira to Oia hike, which was one of the highlights. As others mention, there is a several minute walk into Imerovigli down stone stairs and path, but well worth the location. Elisabeth provided recommendations and also arranged for a private transfer a few times during our trip.

Location is in the middle of the island on the Fira walk to Oia. Private area. Beautiful view. Elisabeth is quick to respond. She helped arrange private transfer from JTR airport to the villa and a bellboy to help carry our luggages (we are a group of 6 adults with 3 checked luggages + 3 carry-on luggages) on the day we arrived. You definitely need help with luggages from the drop off point to the villa on both the way down and the way up (especially on the way up when you leave). The day we left the bellboy was sick last minute so we had to carry our luggages on the way up from the villa to the pick up point for our transfer from the villa to the airport. It was challenging since 4 of us are old (age 65+). If Elisabeth has more than 1 bellboy, it will help prevent this situation when we have no help in the last minute. We were willing to pay extra for the service. Other than that, everything else at the villa was great. We were very happy with our stay at the villa and recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful. We could not have picked a better place to stay. We went to Oia one morning for photos and did not go back - the view here was better. Bring a sweater if you come not in summer - can be very windy. Elisabeth was wonderful, arranged car rental, transfer to/from port, and offered tours (catamaran etc). We had a 1 year old and Elisabeth had the pack-and-play set up before we arrived. She was there to meet us at arrival. Many thoughtful touches. It may be difficult for those with accessibility issues to get to/from. Long hilly walk from main road was tough with all our luggage and a baby but we made it work. Would recommend without hesitation.

We were extremely pleased to see that the place matched the photos exactly. The rooftop was incredibly beautiful and serene and we absolutely loved being outside to watch the sunsets. We never even went to Oia for the sunsets because this location was way too beautiful to bother finding somewhere else to watch one. It’s about a 6-7 min walk on rough downhill terrain from where you get dropped off to the actual place itself. (Cars can not drive all the way through) This location might be a little hard for older folks or someone who is handicap, but it was fine for me and our group. We enjoyed the bit of exercise. There are small markets, shops and DELICIOUS restaurants all within walking distance so we never had to Uber for things we needed. The host provided a baby cot for my daughter to sleep in. This was very nice and helpful. Overall, we were very happy with decision to stay here. I was sad to leave.
