The place was immaculate, well stocked and nicely organized. The bathroom is very large with a newly redone feel. The location is close to everything. Frank was very gracious and helpful. We had such a nice time staying there!

It is centrally located near Park Street - which I describe as Alameda's small city main street - and Alameda's beach. A functional kitchen with all the dishes, pans, and pots you need to make it your temporary home.

We were looking for a place to stay for a couple of months while having work done on our house. Our only criteria was the ability to have our pet with us, an admittedly low bar. We could not have imagined a place as nice as Frank's. A dream location, we enjoyed daily walks along the beach, quick walks to the grocery store, a sweet downtown with many restaurants, bars, shops, and indoor mini golf! The home itself is well appointed with all that's needed for short or long stays. While the street can be busy, double pane windows in the front of the house and the location of the large bedroom toward the back of the house minimize night time noise. Frank is a friendly and helpful host. He welcomed us warmly, was available throughout our long stay, and accommodating when we needed to make it longer than planned.

My husband and I spent two months in Frank and Madeleine’s comfortable apartment between homes and couldn’t have been happier! Frank was responsive with any questions we had. The suite has great amenities for relaxing or working at the desk as well as a real dining room table and chairs. The kitchen has full size appliances and everything you need. The bathroom is huge! The bed was super comfy and there is an amazing amount of storage space in the suite, plus laundry facilities down a short hall. You are in close walking distance to all the best Alameda has to offer, including the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here for a home away from home!

I needed a place to stay for 6 months as I travel for work, and Frank’s place in Alameda was the perfect fit for me. Not only was his place as described, Frank was able to accommodate my need for parking space as I traveled with two cars at the time and worked long hours. Frank and his family respected my need for rest and gave me the privacy I needed to focus on work. I really enjoyed the scenery and nice restaurants located just walking distance from residence. I highly recommend staying here if ever you are in Alameda.
