Wonderful cozy cottage on beautiful lake Cayuga. My family loved listening to the old records they had and jumping in the lake even at the end of October! Wonderful place for family bonding and the hosts were very responsive. We will be back again!

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the linens and bathrooms were clean. Excellent location but very steep driveway, just the nature of the area. Kitchen had what was needed and all appliances working. Both A/C and heat were appreciated. Beautiful lakefront setting.

We loved our stay at Ayoka Cottage! We enjoyed our coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over Cayuga Lake every morning. Our pups loved swimming in the lake and the lake access was easy and convenient! Right out our front door! We explored the beautiful Ithaca area, Cornell University hiking paths and Wineries! Lots to do! Driveway was a bit tricky as well as being cautious when climbing up and down the steps to and from the cottage. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful lake cottage. Seven adults and our golden retriever-plenty of space. Be sure to bring water shoes, if going swimming-rocks may be sharp. My son forgot his water shoes and had cut on foot. Other than suggestion to have water shoes: park up at the road! Unless you have 4wheel drive or possibly all wheel drive, driving up and out of the lower parking area is a challenge! There is so much to do in this area: wineries, hiking, restaurants and Wegmans and Aldi close by. The Finger Lakes have so much to offer. Thank you to Carolyn and Bill for your hospitality.

Ayoka Cottage is charming, in a great location. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. However, there were a couple aspects that were not up to expectations for an AirBnB experience. I messaged the hosts through AirBnB the day after check in to say that there were yellowjackets inside of the house, we killed about 15-20 of them the first night in the 2 front bedrooms. The hosts did not respond to my message for the remaining 2 days of our stay. We just had to live with the indoor yellowjackets for 3 days, which was not relaxing. As others have noted, the driveway experience is truly dicey. We had trouble getting up in a 4WD vehicle. Highly recommend leaving your car at the top of the driveway on the roadside, even if you have luggage to carry.
