Ziga’s home is a place of comfort, beauty, history and fun. Lots of lovely details to make you feel welcome and looked after from the wonderful fluffy towels to the amazing stairs to the swings inside and out. The area is quiet with a lovely walk along the river to the city in about 15 minutes. Sitting in the balcony in the Spring sunshine listening to the birds will aways stay with me. Go stay!

Pipa’s Place far exceeded my expectations. The space is beautiful with these little touches of whimsy (swing & hanging bed! Which the kids loved). There were ample lines & extra blankets. The kitchen comes stocked with coffee, tea, wine & beer. It was spotless when we arrived & Ziga greeted us promptly. He also answered any questions timely & provided information regarding local holidays that we were not aware of. Truly a 5 of 5 star experience!

We loved our week in Slovenia, made all the better by Ziga’s place offering comfort and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped (we cooked twice). The bathroom was modern and washing machine easy to use. The beds, pillows and duvets were excellent. The temperature control was straightforward. We love that the shutters make the rooms so dark, helpful for a lie in following a few too many local beers! Ziga himself was friendly and helpful but also left us in peace. We’ve stayed in many, many Airbnbs and this is in our top three easily! We used taxi’s to get into town as it was convenient in the evenings, rather than driving in. But there are buses regularly. Parking at Ziga’s place was easy and we went out and explored the country every day. We’ll be back and have already recommended this accommodation to some friends.

Lovely and cozy apartment in a great location. Very clean and with everything you need in it. So much to do around . Just feel like home .Ziga was a great host .

Zigas place was incredible! The host was extremely communicate and responsive to everything we needed, but was not invasive. They are the sweetest family. The space was so nice and well done. Location was great and very easy to get into the city and to all the places we needed to go. Beds and linens were comfortable. I appreciated the coffee and beer stocked in the house too!
