Furnished Canvas Tents Your canvas tent will be equipped with everything needed for an amazing getaway to rest and recharge. Our cozy tents include wall-to-wall natural fibre rugs, a queen bed with a super plush Polysleep memory foam mattress, hotel quality linens and towels, bedside fans, battery powered lanterns, a power bank for charging mobile devices and two indoor club chairs. Extra blankets and hot water bottles are also stocked in the tents just in case you get a chilly night early or late in our season. Our canvas tents also feature outdoor seating, a large outdoor sun umbrella, and a private propane fire pit (propane provided) where you can unwind with views of Okanagan Lake. Private Outdoor Kitchenettes Is there anything better than a camp cook out? Each tent has a private outdoor cooking shelter that includes a built-in 2-burner cooktop (propane provided), a sink with running drinking water (cold only), kitchen cookware, dishware, utensils, and pull-out animal proof garbage and recycling. It also provides a great spot to enjoy meals in the outdoor with bar-style seating for two. We recommend that guests bring a cooler with ice to store their food as there is no fridge. Shared Bath House Guests love our outdoor showers that are open to the sky above! Each shower is equipped with instant hot water for those extra long extra hot soaks to get you into vacation mode. We supply the highest quality organic and biodegradable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. And yes, we also have super clean flushing toilets; wouldn’t be glamping without it. Our shared bath house amenity provides some luxury in the outdoors and is located a short walk from the tents. Lake Access There are a few different beach options near Okanagan Glamping Co. The closest option is the Evely Day Use Area. It is directly next door to our property and you can walk there in about 15 minutes. The walk includes quite a steep hill so you can also choose to drive there in less than 5 minutes. Evely has two public beaches (one rocky, the other pebble; the pebble one is really nice and is on the far side of the Rec Site; an extra 15 minute walk). It also has picnic tables on the shoreline and a boat launch for public use. We provide towels for showering but ask that you please bring your own beach towel if you are planning on enjoying the lake. There are also other public beach options within a 15 minute drive. Terrace Our large shared terrace provides an expansive view of the lake, plenty of sun, and big comfy seats with large sun umbrellas. It is a great spot to spend a few lazy hours. It also has a shared BBQ for you to use.
