The place was large enough for 8 adults and 3 kids. It was modern and tidy, but only surface cleaned. I felt all the flooring was quite dirty and hadn't been washed in awhile. The showers and the sinks both drained poorly and the curtain rod in the basement bedroom was falling down. Cold showers were common when the dishwasher was running as well. We found out the dryer didnt work after we had done a large load of laundry, very disappointing. The pool table advertised was unplayable as well (uneven, big rip also on table) The kitchen was well equipped, and the free coffee was a bonus. The firepit with several Adirondack chairs was also nice for campfires. For the price we paid per night, (over $700 including tax) I felt that these issues were important enough to have been repaired before we arrived.

Nav’s place was very nice. It accommodated my family of 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 babies. And while we enjoyed our stay, there were a few issues. There were problems with almost no hot water the first day, I understand there was a plumber sent out but we weren’t notified of this and missed them when they came by. The shower in main bathroom didn’t provide hot water. The pool table is broken and the fire table has a leak or something and is a safety and fire hazard. The BBQ was filthy but once we cleaned it, we were able to enjoy BBQ supper every night. We were halfway through our vacation and planned to utilize the laundry facilities only to find the dryer didn’t work. Even with these issues we enjoyed our time there and our grandsons will have great memories as they caught (and released) their first fish.

Spacious cottage, has everything you need in a cottage, family-friendly. Canoe + kayaks were wonderful to use to row out to the lake area. Overall, was a great stay and good value.

10 people + 2 toddlers spent 5 nights in July. Cottage is beautiful and spacious, with nice main floor and enclosed deck. Issues make it problematic for families with children, though, including misleading descriptions of child-friendly amenities. Stairs leading to the basement a safety concern. Too wide for baby gate, had to improvise ways to block children. Hand rail badly secured at top, unable to support much weight. Kitchen island top not secured to base, could be moved with a push, or by leaning. Owners made aware, hopefully fixed. Backyard has multiple unsafe areas, with vertical drops of 2.5-4 meters, no barriers for safety. Pictures don’t show this properly. Fire table broken. Pool table unusable. Open electrical work in downstairs kitchen. Basement bedroom closets were bare spaces. Ceiling fan on main floor could not be used. Clothes dryer was inoperable. Hosts initially helpful with concerns, but became less cordial as we discovered other issues. Unable to recommend.
