My husband and I rented the house for 5 1/2 months over the winter and thoroughly enjoyed the Canadian winter. The location was peaceful with hiking opportunities. The house had heating and a fireplace, which we greatly appreciated. The only thing we could complain about is that there was no chainsaw to make firewood; with the little wood available, we wouldn't have made it through the winter. The house wasn't spotlessly clean; some corners were a bit old, but that didn't bother us, on the contrary. We would have liked a bit more communication with the host, but whenever there were problems, such as when the water went out, Quinton was always reachable. All in all, we really enjoyed the house and felt at home. Thanks for the wonderful time.

We loved the stay! We had planned on bringing the horses, but last minute truck trouble prevented that. Completely disappointed we proceded with out the horses and still had an amazing time. The fall scenery and quiet rainy days turned out to be just what we needed without the horses. Thanks Quinton! Its an amazing cabin and spot you got there!!!

this cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a work/pleasure trip, quiet and well kept, rustic with modern features, huge yard lots of space to park, living room dining room and kitchen were very spacious and relaxing, beds were above average comfortability. the location was amazing as it sits by a beautiful provincial park, large river, and valley, the views are really amazing. had we been there strictly for pleasure we would have been able to experience something new each day.

Nice cabin in the country. Great location to visit Spruce Woods Provincial Park and walk the Spirit Sands trail. Still close enough to Portage or Brandon for your extended shopping needs.
