Welcome to our bright, spacious apartment, offering plenty of natural light! You'll enjoy 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, an eat-in kitchen, spacious living room with large tv, desk, games, and more! Your space is well-appointed with lovely comfortable furnishings. Feel free to reach out with questions! Your apartment is located on the terrace level of our home. Here is some helpful and interesting information about each of the spaces! THE LIVING ROOM: -We offer a top of the line large (50") tv for your enjoyment. Instructions are provided in the handbook. -We provide xfinity cable tv. -Streaming apps are available on the tv, you will need to use your own log-in information. -The leather sofa and matching chair, all recling via handheld controls. They are new, lovely, and quite comfortable! -Books, games and puzzles are available for your convenience. -We have a handy pub-style table and stools conveniently located in the corner of the living room, for conversation, card games, etc. -The living room has a "hidden" corner that features a desk and floor lamp; note paper and pens/pencils are provided for your convenience. THE KITCHEN: -The eat-in kitchen offers a table and chairs for four, and looks out to the pool area. -Full size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, Keurig, and toaster are there for your convenience, and all are user-friendly and straightforward to use. -Dishes, flatware, mugs, glasses, basic cookware, and wine glasses are provided and are located in the cupboards. -Keurig pods, tea bags, powdered creamer, splenda, and sugar are provided. -You'll find a few essentials like salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc. in the cupboards as well. -Please exercise caution when using any of the appliances, particularly with regards to hot surfaces and hot water. -We ask that you make sure the water is always turned completely off when you're finished in the kitchen. -Please also make sure that the stove, oven, etc. are turned off after usage, and certainly before leaving the apartment! THE BEDROOMS: -Both bedrooms feature several authentic antique items for your enjoyment. -Both bedrooms have small lamps on the nightstands on both sides of the bed. -Lamps offer USB cable ports. -Electrical outlets are also accessible from both sides of the beds. -Large closets are available for your convenience. Closets contain hangers. -Both bedrooms have blackout shades which also serve as privacy shades. The chain located on the right side of the window frame will raise/lower the shade. -The curtains are for looks only. They are extremely sheer, and will offer absolutely no privacy or light-blocking. Use the shades only please! -Each bedroom has an extra set of bed linens, pillow(s) and towels. These items are located in the closet on the shelf. -There is a sound machine in the primary (larger) bedroom for your convenience. IMPORTANT NOTE: The primary (larger) bedroom has an extra "closet" door, behind which is a sump pump, due to part of the terrace level being partially below ground level. When you shower or flush, you may hear sounds coming from that area, indicating that the pump is functioning. Don't be concerned or startled by this. THE BATHROOM: -Please take care not to slip or fall when showering/bathing. The tub has an anti-slip texture on the bottom, however all bath products have the potential to cause surfaces to be slippery. -A bath mat is provided for your convenience and safety. An extra bath mat is located under the sink. -A few complimentary convenience items are located on the bathroom wall shelves. Use them as needed! -A small hair dryer is provided for your convenience, and is located under the sink. -Extra tp rolls are under the sink. -The bath robes hanging in the bathroom are for your use while you are a guest in our apartment. Please enjoy wearing them, and upon your departure, simply place them with your used towels. IMPORTANT NOTE: When you shower or flush, you may hear sounds coming from the sump pump closet in the primary bedroom, indicating that the pump is functioning. Don't be concerned or startled by this. THE POOL: -The pool is open in the warmer months only, usually May - September. Feel free to check on the availability of the pool before booking if this is important to you! -Our pool is an in-ground HEATED SALT WATER pool. -The shallow end is 3.5' deep, the "deep" end is 6'. -NO diving or jumping into the pool, as noted above, even the deep end is (intentionally) quite shallow. -No glass or breakable items are to be present in the pool area. -No "skinny dipping." -No running in the pool area. -Small items, such as hair ties, candy wrappers, etc., will clog the pump filter. Please keep them away from the pool during use. -Beach towels are provided for your convenience. You'll find them hanging on the hooks in the hallway to the pool. -The stairs leading to the upper level deck are off-limits. -The glass double doors under the deck lead to our unfinished space, which is also off limits. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: -You're welcome to enjoy your favorite alcoholic beverage, wine, beer, hard cider, etc., BUT we do not allow and will not tolerate any excessive drinking to the point of drunkenness, or drunken behaviors. -Underage drinking is also prohibited. **During your stay, we will make every effort to keep our "noise" level as low as possible, however you may still occasionally hear the unavoidable sounds associated with the normal daily activities occurring in the main living areas of our home. We ask that you reciprocate by being respectful of your own noise level, including music, tv, etc. We thank you in advance!
