Very nice setup. A lot of room for truck and trailer. Extremely thoughtful and went above and beyond to help us.
I did not expect to have to clean when i got there. There wasnt anyone there for 2 wks prior to us and food in frig freezer and cabinets was very gross. Towels left in dryer which no biggie but u would think that wouldnt be so. Pic shows a bunk bed but all rooms have double/queen beds. Thermostat set to a schedule that i couldnt change n it was set for warm weather andit was cold. The internet had trouble at the other end of the house. Dishes tho clean were dusty due to sitting awhile. I got there an hour early and she did allow access early. I love the mountain scenery. Parking wasnt that close to the door and being in the mountains in the dark thats scary. There is a Tv in the main room that only showed the 3 cameras on the outside of the house. It had a smell that i cant really describe. The bunkbed was not there. It was a double bed that took up the room w a small walk space. Also theres a whole half of trailor at the back no idea whats there with a door that can enter not exit.
We enjoyed our stay, with a few issues. First of all, some positives. On the plus side, the location is great, super convenient to Williamson and the Hatfield-McCoy trail system. The surroundings are lovely, we enjoyed just driving around and enjoying the countryside. Laurel Lake and the Dingess Tunnel are well worth visiting as well. Now for the not-so-positives: This is an old mobile home that's been reasonably well painted and decorated. It smells like a smoker lived there for 40 years. The smell was bearable if unpleasant for me, but folks with asthma may have a harder time. The sheets in the master bedroom were dirty, but clean sheets were easy enough to find and change. There was a dirty sock left under the bed. Each bathroom had only one roll of TP. By the end of our two-day stay, my family was concerned about running out.
Located right beside laurel lake. As well as two trail access points near by. Outlaw trails and the Hatfield and McCoy trails.
