The Sittenham house is beautiful and spacious. plenty of rooms. it has great "old tyme" charm as well as modern amenities. Our hosts wete very accomodating and gracious. They took extra time to make sure we were acquainted with the local area (shops, attractions etc) and even took us on a tour. there is a book with all of the local attractions which they put together as well. they are very quick to respond to questions and even proactively checked in on us. there was a lovely welcoming hamper set up for our arrival also. i would give Sittenham house and the hosts higher ratings if possible!! i will stay here again and again. it feels like home! We love it here!!!

Stayed at Graem's place between Christmas and New Year (6 adults). We had a great time - there was more than enough space for us all to be in the house and not feel on top of one another. We used the kitchen and dining room every day, which was great for entertaining, and then sat around the fire in the living room in the evenings, playing games we brought, chatting, and generally having a nice time. We brought my parent's dog as well, and he had the best time - the house really is located in a fantastic place, with woodland behind the property, and some lovely walks straight from the door, or less than a 10 minute drive away. It was cold (Scottish highlands in December), but Graem's dad came round before we arrived and put all the heating on for us, which was very welcome indeed.

This is a historical property and part of Scotland Highland history. It was very peaceful and a great location for exploring the highlands of Scotland. The North Coast 500 was right out the front door and we spent every day exploring all the roads, paths, historical sites, scenic byways and mountains.

Richard (Graeme's father) what a lovely guy! Welcoming and sharing the local history and all the places we should try and visit. The house itself is amazing, steeped in history and has everything you would Need !! A true must for anyone visiting this area, thanks once again for letting us stay in your very special house !
