Roof of the house is noisy and as the house is on hill - it is windy and annoys. Owners are very nice and helpful! First time driving, it is steep - do not be afraid to use first gear! Pool is nice! View from terrace is amazing! Just keep in mind the wind - as it is last house on hill, wind can blow pretty much - napkins, empty lemonade bottles fly away easily!

Nice and spacious house. All rooms have airconditioning. The kitchen was well equipped - this in fact one of the few rental houses we encountered with a decent work surface in the kitchen to stack items (very much appreciated !) We had the upper "maisonette" in our building. A 3x 1-beds bedroom was upstairs, right over the master bedroom. We had no sound disturbance from the maisonette below at all. The bathroom is compact, but with a good walk-in shower, modern sanitary equipment and a nice view from the throne ! ;-) The pool (shared by the 4 accomodations) is nearby, and has a nice terrace on both sides with sun chairs, and a table. The house has a small stoa (covered walkway) where you can leave swimming gear to dry, ending in a small patio. The house indeed has a splendid view - but the way there is STEEP, going straight up the steepest hill flank. Make sure your car has an excellent 1st gear, as the town didn't bother with the construction of a winding road to get there ... Once at the accomodation, each one has its dedicated parking spot. The town of Aliki is charming, but very small. There is a small (expensive) mini-market for short-notice items, but for any extended services (supermarket, fuel station, ...), you need to drive out at least 30' over the hills/mountains. Delfi is at approx. 1h40, Athens airport at 1h45. Giorgos and his family lived in the 3rd building on the property - luckily we didn't need any interventions, but is is nice to know somebody is there should you require assistance or help. Both Giorgos and his daughter speak fluent English, which makes communication very easy. We took the 4-5 hour boat trip (arranged by Giorgos' daughter) with our kids; they really liked the adventure - just be cautious about the attention span of your kids versus the event's time span. You need to wade through water to get in & out the speed boat which definitely adds to the adventure. The 10-meter speedboat takes you to 2 to 3 nice, isolated beaches with stunning views above and below the water line (when we sailed out, we had these beaches all to ourselves. You go ashore for about 1 hr per beach where you can swim, snorkel, ... ).
