We spent a lovely couple of nights at Ripostena in April ‘24 and thoroughly enjoyed it - we had a comfortable stay, with a kitchen equipped well enough to make breakfasts before we headed out to explore surrounding areas. We spent one night doing a bbq while enjoying the beautiful view & sunsets from our terrace. We found it comfortable and peaceful despite other guests staying above us. The pool had a lovely view and it was open which was a plus as we were lucky with good weather - it’s not heated so too cold for me but the children enjoyed it. Previous reviews mention dinner but this was not available during our stay as they are in the process of finding a new chef. Once off the main road, you’re on a bumpy dirt track - wasn’t too bad but not one to rush. Martina is friendly and was always available via the app or by phone. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Pasamos unos días muy agradables y de desconexión en la propiedad de Martina. Además, el atardecer se veía precioso. Este es un sitio para descansar y disfrutar, por lo que, si vas a estar conduciendo de un sitio a otro, quizá te interese más algo más central como Siena. En cambio, si quieres verte envuelto en la naturaleza, disfrutarás mucho de la ubicación. Por último, recomiendo contratar la cena alguna noche para disfrutar de los exquisitos platos caseros de Rosa. Gracias Giuseppe y Martina por la hospitalidad y el buen trabajo ofrecido.

Beautiful location and so peaceful. The hosts made us feel right at home and were always there if we needed something. Would definitely come back and wished we had stayed longer! The homemade dinners were fantastic as well!

What can we say about this place, other than exceptional. The location was incredible, we were offered a welcome drink on arrival just in time to view the sunset off the back terrace. The team were super friendly and accommodating. The apartment was exactly ad described and well kitted out with everything we needed. Each having its own bbq if you wanted. We had dinner one of the evenings hosted by Martina's team which was wonderful, a shame there weren't more meals during our stay!. The pool area was great although it was too cool for us to go in. Location wise, as described, it's in the middle of nowhere so come prepared with your groceries for your stay! The road leading up to the property is also quite bumpy so take your time. In summary a slice of paradise, we would definitely return here. So beautiful!
