The Alpenloft is an amazing place: it’s extremely spacious, and the interior is spectacular, featuring much wood, lots of skis on the wall and even a motorbike under the roof. I particularly liked the large dining table, which was perfect for big family meals. Communication with the host was good, and a bottle of wine and some beer and water were gifts that made for a very warm wecome. Unfortunately there’s not much of a view: from the upstairs terrace one can just about make put a mountain behind some rooftops. Still the place has much to make up for that: the jacuzzi is a really special feature and proved to be very popular - we used it every day. The sauna is also great. Mittenwald is a pitturesque place, and we would like to stay again in the Alpenloft.
